System for the strenghthening of supervision, Mineduc

This project was shared between Newtenberg and Fundación Chile for Chile’s Ministry of Education. The aim was to supply the ministry with the technology that optimizes the management of activities related to the supervision and attendance at schools. The system allows the monitoring of the activities of every visit, linking the supervision goals with the schools’ success in terms of accomplishing their own development plan.

• It is equipped with a central system of information management.
• System designed for a pocket PC. It is capable of collecting and recording information on the activities developed by the supervisors at different schools.
• System of management reports which allows a comprehensive approach on the supervision activities.

Management system developed with ArbolPortal tool, a comprehensive development ambient for Databases applications. The use of this tool originates in the coexistence agreement reached by Arbol-Lógika and Newtenberg.

Base software: Apache Tomcat, RedHat Linux.
